Kelsie Lee is a tattoo artist in Boulder, CO. She was born Sept. 27th, 1997 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. 

 

She started drawing when she was 4 years old. “My family was super into sports and I was the artsy kid.”

 

“I always wanted to tattoo.” She recounts. “I remember when I was 13 my dad had me watch LA Ink. I skipped the whole concept of college and jumped right in.”

 

She started her apprenticeship in March of 2019, and became a member of DreamHouse tattoo after moving to Colorado in early 2021.

 

Fun fact: She brought her pet snake back to life twice during her cross country move to Colorado.

What’s your favorite video game of all time?

 “Bio Shock Infinite. There’s a lot of weird symbolism in it and you don’t totally understand the story unless you’ve played it a few times.

 

How many times have you played it?

 “I’ve played it 5 and have it on 3 different consoles.  Level 201 on Playstation Network.” *Rock hand sign*

 

You’re a promoter and you get to build a five band concert for yourself. Who are the bands you’re picking to play?

What’s one thing you want to do before you die?

 "Go to California. Something about it has always grabbed me. It could be because it’s on the complete opposite side of my hometown, but I just want to go there. I also love the music culture, punk culture in particular." 

 

If you could be a Pokemon, which would you be and why?

 “Haunter, because he’s my favorite and he’s a ghost. I wouldn’t evolve into a Gengar though because he looks like fat Gremlin.“

 

 What’s your favorite tattoo you’ve gotten and why?

 “My armpit. It was a life altering experience in the book of pain.”

 

What’s your favorite movie?

"Se7en with Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, and Kevin Spacey. "

 

What was the last show you binge watched? What are you planning to binge next?

 "The last show I binge watched was The Sinner on Netflix. I watched the whole 1st season in a night and watched the 2nd one a few nights after that. As far as what I want to watch next, probably Goosebumps."
